Built by advisers, for advisers
SuitabilityOS did not start as a software idea. It started as a Friday afternoon with four Statements of Suitability still to write, and the knowledge that every one of them would be read by a compliance reviewer with the Consumer Protection Code open beside them.
Where it comes from
The platform was designed and tested inside a Central Bank of Ireland–regulated financial planning practice in the Irish Midlands. The people behind it have spent more than twenty-five years advising individuals, families and company directors on pensions, protection and investments — first across a national bank’s branch network, then in an independent, CFP-qualified practice working with Ireland’s main life and pensions providers.
That experience shaped a simple view: the Statement of Suitability is the most important document an adviser issues, and the least enjoyable one to produce. Done by hand it swallows hours, invites copy-and-paste mistakes, and still leaves the adviser wondering whether a risk warning, a replacement comparison or a remuneration line has been missed.
What we set out to fix
- Hours, not minutes. A PRSA, a PRB, an ARF, a term assurance or an investment bond case is entered once; the Statement, the covering email and — where there is a replacement — the Business Replacement form come out together.
- Wording that keeps up. Exit-tax rates, risk-override notices, capacity-for-loss assessments, Defined Benefit transfer warnings: the wording is maintained centrally by practitioners and applied to every product, so a change in a Budget or a Central Bank expectation is one update, not fifty templates.
- Your firm, your signature. Every document carries your firm’s letterhead, Central Bank reference and the adviser’s own name and designations. SuitabilityOS drafts; the adviser reviews, verifies the figures against the provider illustration, and issues.
- Nothing to leak. The client’s circumstances never leave the adviser’s browser. Our servers hold your firm’s profile, your logins and your subscription — and nothing about your clients.
How it is run
SuitabilityOS Limited is an Irish company (CRO 826581) based in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. The platform is hosted within the European Economic Area, billed monthly through Stripe with no minimum term, and supported by the same people who use it in practice every week. Our Subscriber Terms, Privacy Notice and sub-processor list are published in full.
It is a drafting tool, not a compliance service: each firm remains responsible for the documents it issues. We think that is exactly as it should be — and that a good tool makes that responsibility far easier to carry.
